  the Steps of Success\, audience members have a chance to succeed through 
 participating in a drum lesson and performing with the group.</p>\n<p>This
  process is meant to inspire all to become better individuals\, but to als
 o take action to help others succeed in life and be the best versions of t
 hemselves.</p>\n<p>Sheltered Reality believes in the power of “US.” When w
 e do things together\, believe in and support one another\, we can do grea
 t things. #USSIE</p>\n<p>Sheltered Reality was founded in 1996 by Executiv
 e Director Steve Schlosser as a non-profit organization using music and ed
 ucation to reach out to audiences motivating them to advocate for those in
  need. The messages that are presented focus on facts and real-life storie
 s from members that culminate in character education and ideas for action.
